Yes there is pain, but there is a lot of joy as well and here will be a relief that I was unable to give him. I will know when they go to bed and will feel his pleaser at being able to see to her there, and will know if she lets him have his own. The bonds are two side so as I feel his reactions he will feel my own feelings, and know how happy I am that this is happening and how I am reacting to what I get from him. I can filter it of course, so I don’t need to feel everything but right now I am not blocking much. Albert smiled. “I hopping it wouldn’t be a short wait, so thank you for saying so. It is what I need right now. For all I can see it is hard for you to believe. You are making me just as happy as you are the boy.” Jade shook her head, but was smiling so he knew he wasn’t really upset. Just wanted them to understand before they saw more. “So what did he say? Or am I guessing wrong?”
June said. “He will be here at four, and I had best not be on base when he gets there. That I had best be taking time time to recover from my foolishness. So it is best that you be ready, as he will find you first.”
Albert nodded. “I will try to be on the station waiting for him when he docks. It might help that Henry is with you. We will see, but he is going to have a lot to say to all of us. The bar-b-cue was already happening then, so the neighbors being here will help some.”
Oliver nodded. “I know it is a bit soon, but they were trying to get me to hold it tonight. They don’t want you to feel isolated here because you don’t know anyone. All our children grew up going in out of each homes, but yours have been taken from their friends. So they are hoping meeting the children that are close will help a bit. For all I expected you would need to do some shopping they just couldn’t wait any more than one night.”
Jade said. “I plan seeing Hilrry in the morning to get her and Puala to come shopping with us. They will be better with the clothes than me. I thought we would likely be able to leave around eight and hope to be back around four thirty. Take the van this time and let the bus until the adults think it is safe for them to go on their own. If that sounds good to you all? The time difference should see that most are up by seven, but if they aren’t ready at eight it won’t be a problem and no one will worry before six. So there is room either way. Neighborhood suppers seldom get started before six thirty, and will go late, with a lot ending up staying all night. And tend to happen every other weekend, or any time that anyone can find a reason for one.”
Violet nodded. “I am surprised that you were able to put them off that long. I told them there would be a big cook out not long after we got in, so that should be fine. Jade nodded. “He will need a bit, just on his ankles so not to noticeable. After all there were a few at supper that were tied, and will be others that are in the morning as well. Now then a driving tour of the town then we go to the mall or should we do some shopping here?”
Violet said. “That sounds fine, the mall is where we are more likely to find anything, but they do need to know where the stores are in town. That way they can check them out another time. Now I had best go see what they are into.” She stood up then looked back. “Do think of them before bringing them here. Jade said. “Most the crew will not be moving in but that that do will have rooms of their own, no matter where they end up sleeping. If anything seeing them not bothered by it will just help the teen boys when it happens. So that is normal?”
Graint nodded. “And it is not over. They will indeed have more to say when there is another person in her room. Yet never notice if Al has others, or if I have someone over. Well normally, now they will likely notice if someone is with Al as they can now complain to Jade about it.”
A voice from the door said. “Complain to Jade? What did they stomp out about this time?”
Jade said. “They can yell at me for Al havening someone in his bed as he has given me the right to prevent it. They were just trying to get me to say that I wouldn’t have guests and would see that the boys, the male servants, were unable to show their arousal or would leave the room, when they both know better. That nonsense again, and there will be at least three more times before they stop speaking to me. Did you need something Helen? Any luck finding Arthur and Fern?”
She nodded. “They are in a hotel in Clyton I told them we could pick them up tomorrow. Arthur is willing, but Fern’s parents have a few questions. And Roland is there as well, for all I was just sure he was on Colony, so he will be coming.” That made her tense a bit.
Jade nodded. “No problem, and you took the room with the two connected to it, so if the guys take those no one need know where they sleep. Your folks didn’t even notice the doors, and no one else has a right to complain. Now then if you will call Fern back we can get those questions answered. First off, yes of course they should all come here. If they hadn’t of left already I would have seen they were with us. Just Uncle Will had more sense than Fred did about it. Helen said. “That is what I told them, but likely they need to hear you say it.” She dialed the phone. “Hi, I found Jade and am putting this on speaker. That way you can just ask her yourselves.”
Jade smiled a bit. “Glad you made it in safe, now then what do you need to get here? We will be in Clyton tomorrow so can pick you up then, there will be room enough. Yes with the bags. I will just see that one of the guys brings a truck for them. You should be here regardless, but more so where they have you in a hotel.”
Olver nodded. “I am on the hotel thing now. I know full well there are still house not being used. There is no reason for that!”
Will said. “I think most of us asked for an apartment not a house, and this was the best they can do as the building is still being finished. It wasn’t open, so it is just us here and it isn’t that bad. Most are young couples or single folks that would just find a house to large. It is on Flute, so not to bad of an area, just across from a Red Hen, so we get most of the meals there.”
Oliver said. “What? No! That is. There are good reasons that was closed! I am not the only one that offered rooms for those situation. They still had better options. Every one of will be moving tomorrow!”
