Sorry I was tired last night so 2 days togather 36,055

There was nothing out of place on the patrol so they were back by the time Thonblood’s ship docked, so Albert and Vic were waiting on him.  Victory kissed him again, making him groan from the bite of the cage. “Are you sure? You know what it means. You want this? Me in charge. We have played enough that you know what is going to happen. I will use a paddle as needed as long as that is permitted to me. I doubt if it will be often that it won’t be. Cap is going to find it easier to let me see to it.”
Albert nodded. “It won’t be the first, for all you held back, we both enjoy those games and it is time to say so. There might be times Cap even tells you to. It is going to hard on her to punish me. It will help her. Yes I want this, if she asks I will let her know that you have the key, but so far she hasn’t. She is not going to mind, you know she approvers of us. After all she told you to take me. I know it will be rough at times, but that is what I need. That area is going to be hardest on Sis, so it helps to have another, and I like it better that it is up to you. Those were the better times for me. For all there will be times I am upset about being defined.”
Vic shook her head but kissed. “Fine, but you will earn your way out, and given how worked up you are you will be paying for it after. No matter if you are still bruised from the ceremony or not.”  She shook her head. “I can just see your Father when he works out why I am at the house.”
Albert moaned and kissed her, loving it, knowing she meant it. Not care that Thonblood was there . It didn’t matter any, not like there was a reason to hide. “Thank you love, and Henry is just as thrilled as that means we will have wait longer to be together. They have just left the last store, but she is going to make a stop at Facinces and get some sweets, so likely they will have to visit Rachale’s once they see it. That gives us two hours before they will be at house. Will that do Thon? Henry can come up with a few more to suggest they go if needed, he says she isn’t to tired, and did sit a few of the stores in the Mall out.”
Thonblood smiled relived that Henry wasn’t there, that was a help. “That should do to let me get most of the answers I need. Just why the Hell was I not informed! How long was she gone? What was she doing on Earth without transportation? At least you had the sense to see she isn’t in base But a Mall? That is not resting! What are you thinking? At least you do have the boy with her. Fred is at the house? Well at least he showed some sense or did she drag him out?” Truly what had they been thinking letting her go there? They should know just how much of a risk that was for her! Of all things. Yes she was well enough, but she shouldn’t be taking on that much without any support and he could see the bond wasn’t made. For all it sounded like it was at least planed to happen, which was far over do.
Albert said. “I see Captain left a bit out. I was wondering about that. Jade was there before the fleet was seen, living with Fred and Violet. Wouldn’t leave before she got them talked into it. All of Violet’s family came with her, I would have thought Mul let you know that. At least she did call him, not just take a place on the transports that Fred was booking for them. No I am not happy about it, but I couldn’t stop her. She.” He closed his eyes and shuddered a bit. “She had a really bad time, and reached for me. I kept it light, but it still scared her. She recovered, mostly, not fully. Still isn’t, for all she won’t admit it. Fred was trying to force us to Earth, she agreed to go. I thought at the time she was agreeing to his demands but she did work it so she could leave when she wanted. That was what she used to see they were on the ship. Still. She shouldn’t have been there. I am not sure what the first days were like, but there was something said that implied she was sleeping most of them.  Right now she is no worse than when she left, but not any better. She has admitted to the Oath and will make it official once her rank is. They are going to wait as long as they can, trying to give her time. However not more than three weeks, likely one from what I heard today. They were set to give her the bars the day she told them she was going to Earth for an undermined amount of time. It has been a long year. I have been working on forming the crew, but there are wholes yet. I have a list of what places are open. One is Medic.” He looked at the man standing next to Thon, knowing he couldn’t ask, but wishing he could. Sis needed him more than anything.
Glade said. “I will go out with you, but more than that waits on her. She clearly has enough pushing on her right now. If they are there. Should I stay here? I know I am needed, but. Is it to much?”
Albert said. “I think that it would be best to wait. Fred has her worried about scarring everyone, and so she is trying to explain to much.  Thon can help with that and you can get to know the crew and see who else doesn’t fit. I know some more need to go. I weeded three today. We should have a new navigator to test tomorrow. They were do in toady and Grandfather was going to see the better one was sent to us. Herny has been doing most of it, as the only one not in team is a drunk. One of the teams not flying sent theirs to us for the patrol we just ran. As he was to wasted to even know he was in a changing room.”
He nodded. “Sounds good, you had best walk me over so they don’t throw me out of the bunk. I will stay with them tonight that will let me see how they are meshing. As long as you don’t think I am stepping on your toes. Having me is going to change the normal ranking.”
Al smiled. “They all know I just run the bridge, off it they have been looking to Vic but she is a part of Jade’s wing so having you here is going to be a help. Try as I do I just am not a good second. I fully know that it will take time, but I don’t think she will send you away now. In that much this year did help. She is more sure of herself, but still upset by it. Come on, the transport will be wanting to leave.” He started walking. “Jade is letting Henry help, but. Well it is better than I feared it would be. Yes I mean letting him now. She wouldn’t. He says that she must have had a few flings on Earth, but the way they are. It was something, and so it isn’t t bad. Yet. She just left him bruised. It was enough to take most of his need and a lot of hers, but. She should have went a bit further. So.”
Thon nodded. “I will have a boy go with her tonight and he will see that she deals with what Henry couldn’t get her to. She will be avoiding blood, but taking him to the edge as she did with Henry will do for now. You said it won’t be long until she accepts the oath. Just needs enough to see her stabilized tell then. Her servant is just about ready. Two weeks and Gunner will be here. That he has taken the classes and vows will see she is mad enough to leave him in a fut state for a newly bonded servant. Don’t worry, we are working on it. What are you doing for a ship?”
They had boarded the transport and one of the others coughed. “You said Gunner took the servant vows? And is coming. You mean to Jade? Are you aware that he promised her that was not why he was going to Alph? That he told her he would not take the classes? Is he? That is going to far! Are you sure she is up to that?”
Thon said. “The boy won’t get near her until the bond to Al is set. That will see that she can manage, but yes it is going to be hard on her, but it is needed. I was not sure just what was said only that she had told him not to take the classes. He told them at enrollment he was breaking the orders of the one he intended to serve, but he needed to be able to see to her properly. They have been hard on him all along. Don’t worry I am going to tell her tonight that he is coming. That will ease it a bit, but yes it is going to be hard on her, but she needs to do it.” There was a lot more questions of course, but not as much yelling as Albert had been braced for.
They were out front waiting when the van pulled in. Thonblood was pleased to see that most were letting them take the bags and even better Jade did not even try to take one. He looked at those with her and could tell one man was worried about something, those with him were looking a bit shocked at the house. He said. “At a guess you picked up a few and need to get them settled. Al will see to it, you are coming with me. Just what were you thinking pulling a stint like that! You should have seen to a fast way home before you ever left! There was no reason you didn’t have a ship there. You aren’t well and don’t think of saying other wise. Al said you are using Metal so you will be taking on another wing now. They can transfer with yours. When will that be? At least you have Herny, and he is doing what he can, for all it isn’t enough. Robert go. He will be helping for now. Your servant still has two weeks of schooling and I will keep him until your first bond is stable. However, you will take the one that is trained for you. No more putting it off!”
Jade shook her head. “Hello to you as well. Graint knows the rooms, not Al and is seeing to their things, they are going to come and get some real food. They have been living off of dinner meals for a month so seeing the house is just going to have to wait. I can see Martha coming.” She turned to look at Will who was getting a bit pale, not have expected the gathering. “Uncle Will it is fine, I told you it is all taken care of, now come on. Yes there are likely some here that you knew, but so what? Your father has been served notice by now. You are safe. There isn’t a thing he can do now that you are Family. That trumps the silly ban that Notble did. Not that it would have ever stood if you had of challenged. All the same this is your home now.”
Fred sputtered a bit, not able to say anything. Thonblood said. “Notble What? Williant? Good, we need you flying. We don’t have enough qualified pilots to let them sit out of politics. Fred you need to get back up there, there good enough to run supplies. You know we are going to come up short. Come on then, the food is over here. At least the children aren’t shy. That is a help. You are going to give me those answers. I am not that easily distracted. The boys will get the food, we are going to a table. Coming Fred or are just going to stand there?”
Jade shook her head. “Uncle Will I did not bring you here to force you into service, no matter what that sounded like. It won’t happen. I know that you have made a new life for yourself these last nine years. You do not have to take up the job you left, but I was going to let you know you could. Not like that though. It wasn’t our  place and I am sorry about that. Right now you have enough to deal with. I know it is a bit bit strange, but the servants will like it if you can let them bring your food with ours, so will you come to the table with us?”
Ediath smiled, and started walking with them. Just why was Jade so worried that everything was going to upset them? She had been like that at the mall a bit, but not this bad. After all she took a few of the older ones to one of the stores, and at least one of them had bought a few toys by the look of it. Yet now she is clearly worried that ordany things are going to be causing problems. Something isn’t right. “He told me of his life here not long after we met, I know that he was an officer and have already told him to see about getting back in service. He needs to be out there helping, for all he is worried about us. No harm was done. I am not going to troubled by being waited on, it will just seem like being at my parents. They kept a large staff.” They reached a table and sat. She frowned a bit, wondering how they were doing now. “I think they were going to Frhshica, but I haven’t heard from any since a week before we left Earth and I can’t find anything. So. Sorry, it is just the not knowing.”
Jade said. “We have better record access here than you were able to get so we will start with that and then move on.” She looked around a bit and smiled. “Do you have a copy of the last message on you?”
Ediath took out her cell and pulled it up. “They were able to transfer everything from my old phone when we got here, so yes.” She handed it over.
Fred had come with them but had just been looking at them. “I am still. Just what does Notble ? You mean? No. But. Just.”
Jade laughed, shaking her head a bit. “Yes Fred, as you should have known, having at one time been close to his former brother. Then you did your best to lock away anything about the life here. Given how little everyone knew before I turned up it is a wonder they even knew who I was. Don’t think I missed the fact that they didn’t know you had children older than Albert. Never mind one is also related to them.” She read the message and smiled, and raised her voice. “Excuse me Minster Fannrtuth, has the Esstperth has had any trouble?”
Will and Fred looked at her shocked, but Thon nodded. It was past time she started speaking to them, she would be among them soon, and even better she didn’t flinch as the food was set down. A tall man turned. “No, none. It is carrying settlers, it is do for a service  after this trip, but no issues have been reported. Is there a problem?”
Jade said. “My Aunt here had relatives that said they were taking passage on her, but she has been unable to find anything more. The last contact was two months ago. She has been limited to the public records, so it could just be a flaw in them. That will be fixed after we eat of course, but I knew you would know of the ship.”
He said. “Two months? Do you have anything about the date they were to leave?” He walked over to them.
Jade said. “Things were a bit strained so she is short on details. This is what she has, so no. We can’t even be sure that this is what was done.”
He read it and nodded. “If you can write the names down I will see that the manifests are checked. There have been some problems with the records, so that could will be. It is under investigation, you are not the only one that has had issues.”
Jade said. “Thank you, and I will get you the list soon, it is a help to know that the ship hasn’t had problems.”
Ediath nodded. “That is a wight off my shoulders. They have interest in Murrrrdtricth shipping and likely that saw to they had places ready, but there has been nothing. Yet as they were board it should have been reported if they were missing, but that wasn’t enough somehow. Hale Frasher is my father.”
Fennnrthuth said. “I have a request to find information for him on the location of one Ediath Nighsen, whose husband was of  Willeton birth, but more than that is unknown. Commutation was lost suddenly so they do not know what messages they received. Would that be you?” Ediath nodded a bit stunned. “In that case let me see who I can raise. At the very least I will be able to have you a way to contact them by the meals end. They have been in a panic, as you failed to turn up. You all have a birth reserved on the ship, and are on watch lists with the space ports.”
Will said. “We were on the Raven’s rider, three days after that message. We did send  one telling them, but it must have been lost. I had changed my name, but coming back here it seemed best to return to my birth name least some think I was trying to bypass the laws. That could well be why no record of us was found.”
Jade said. “That doesn’t explain why I was not aware of any alerts to be looking for you. We left long after you, and I was in the crew areas of the ports a lot in the days before we did so. I should have seen the posted notice, at the least, if not the flag in the system. That needs to be looked into. There are others there that could well be getting missed. There are good reasons for those flags to be there.”
Oliver nodded. “And we will look into it don’t you worry any. Will it is good to have you and your family here, you are most welcome. However all that was striped from you has been restored. The complaints against you have been found unfounded and the actions that were taken illegal. You have the right to restitution above the property that was taken. Think it over before saying no. There is something that would serve you well.”
Will said. “The only thing I want beyond what I lost is the Nightengail. However asking to take a ship under the current conditions is unacceptable, giving it is fit for service.”
Oliver said. “We have made no move to press personal ships and I see nothing excessive in that request. Of course I can not say what her present crew will do when the deed is changed, but I will see it is submitted. Donations are of course accepted, but it is completely up to the owners what the ships are used for as there is no Red code active.”
Will shook his head. “My Wife and I need a few weeks to determine where our home will be, once that is settled I will report to a base, and will be glad that I have a ship to bring as well.”
Oliver smiled. “You will be welcome, but take what time you need. Take a few trips if you want. The transports will take you and your family to the Nightengail’s bunk when ever you wish, and finding a crew for her will be as easy as asking. Yes he was purple. Donaled is still dancing, he was given the task of delivering the papers to him. That you are now Family was enough then he read the rest. Now you all just relax and have fun. Nothing needs to be decided tonight. Come on Clay, you can all you men from my office.” He took him a way.
Fred said. “Just what next? Dare I even! How do you. Why is there another boy there? As if it wasn’t enough to have Herny. Now you bring another. Just how did that even? Where did you make them go?”
Jade said. “Thon knows that Herny isn’t fully trained to serve me so has set one of his to help him, they all heard him assign the boy and are not upset by it. However Thon just what do you mean my servant still has two weeks of schooling? I have none in school. Just what are you talking about? I am still waiting for an answer about the ship, but will have one in three weeks at the most. My request is needing a bit of consideration, which is fine. It will take me at least that long to be sure of  the crew. Likely a bit more as there are some that will have to come from other places.” Fred coughed. “Yes, there will be those not in service in my crew and yes we will be dealing a lot with classified missions. The brass is going to have a fit, but they should expect it. I was not without options, I had your alarm with me. You were not told because I needed to not be Jadeaith Nicklet for a bit. That would not work if you were checking on me, it would lead others to, and you know it. Therefore no one knew I was on Earth but those that were home when I left, and they were oath bound from talking of it outside of the house. Just so it was safe for me to be there alone. No one could have predicted the Claxtons, all the same I took the wisest course. Leaving alone would have drawn attention. Going with family I was just one of many leaving, should there be agents watching. I was not being reckless.” Thon looked at her and was ready to protest, having seen the pictures of her being helped onto the ship. “Yes I was a bit weak when we boarded, but nothing a bit of rest didn’t set right. The stress is getting to me, but I am not in any danger. After all I was able to tend to Henry as I will to the boy you have set to serve me. A week is not to much to wait.”
